Poems and tomes.

When I was a kid, my mom and I both loved to read scary stories and poems together. She was always into creepy-crawly stuff and ghost stories and urban legends, and she had a powerful (and dad-hated) passion for scaring people. When I think about her, the first memories I find are usually tied to this part of her personality and to the times we spent reading under the booklight. And to be honest, I think her passing this love onto me is one of the core reasons I ended up being a writer in the first place—it all came from scary stories. So, finally, I decided to start writing my own collection.

Ghoul’s Grimoire is a personal passion project that’s in a lot of ways a love letter to my mom and to those feelings and moments, and I genuinely hope that someday somewhere some parent and child will enjoy these poems the same way we enjoyed ours.
